Light saber | ||||||||
As a request of a friend, I decided to make a basic light saber tutorial. To begin this tutorial, select the "Rounded Rectangle Tool" with a radius of 100% and draw the below shape using white as the color.

| ||||||||
You should now have the below image.
Now draw a white rectangle using the "Rectangle Tool."
Now we will create more anchor points to the shape. Select the "Add Anchor Point Tool" and place new anchor points where needed to get the below shape. Zoom way in for easier workability as shown below.
You should now have the below image.

You should now have the below image.
Now, select the "Rounded Rectangle Tool" with a radius of 100% and draw the below shape using 4c4c4c as the color.
Next go to the main menu and select "Edit" then "Free Transform" and angle the shape as I have done below. Then duplicate and move accordingly.
Not sure what this step was for. :)
Next, select the line tool (size 1) and draw the below using 4c4c4c as the color.
Now, duplicate the line shape and move accordingly.
Now draw a white rectangle using the "Rectangle Tool."

The Results!!! | ||||||||
To finish it off I duplicated the blade layer twice and clicked the eye of one of the blade layers and then merged the two. I then changed the blending mode to Color Dodge and turned the fill down to 23%. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
