Rock Text | ||||||||
We'll begin this tutorial by downloading the below image and opening it in Photoshop. Once open, go to the main menu and select "Edit" then "Define Pattern." Give the pattern a name and click "OK." We will use this for our rock text. | ||||||||
Now create a new document at a size of 350 x 200 and select the "Type Tool." Select Verdana bold as the typeface at a size of 104 with the color set to black. Type "Rock" and move to step 3. | ||||||||

You should now have the following. Next, duplicate the text layer and merge the two text layers together. | ||||||||

I then used the "Eraser Tool" with a brush size of 12 and hardness at 24% to eliminate the rocks that were cut off. See below image for example. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. | ||||||||
