We'll begin this tutorial, by creating a new canvas at a size of 315 x 169. Be certain that your Foreground color is White and your Background color is Black, then go to the main menu and choose "Filter" then "Render" and lastly "Clouds".
Next, go to the main menu once again and choose "Filter" then "Stylize" and lastly "Find Edges".
Then, go to the main menu once again and choose "Image" then "Adjustments" and lastly "Invert".
Then, go to the main menu once again and choose "Image" then "Adjustments" and lastly "Hue/Saturation" and use the below settings.
You should now have the below image.
Next, duplicate this layer and change the Blending Mode to "Color Dodge". Do this four times to get the below. Merge all layers together when done.
Now type your prefered text.
Now "Ctrl" click text layer to create a selection.
Now grab the "Lasso Tool" and add to the selection some of the flames using the "Shift" key on the keyboard. I also took away some of the selection by holding in the "Alt" key.
Next, go to the main menu and choose "Select" then "Inverse". Delete the text layer in the Layers Palette so there is again only the background layer. Now hit "Delete" on the keyboard to rid the outer portion of the text selection. Create a new layer, fill with Black and put beneath the Magma layer in the Layers Palette.
